Paper Piecing

Paper piecing is a great way to use up scraps. You can either buy a book such as Annie Lang's 202 Paper Piecing Patterns, or use clipart or pictures from coloring books. To transfer the pattern, I find it easiest to put the pattern on a light box and trace it onto the scrapbook paper. After cutting out the pieces mat them on black cardstock and cut around the pieces leaving a narrow border. Arrange and glue the pieces according to the pattern.
