Paper embroidery is the art of embroidering on paper. It reminds me of the nail and string art
designs that I used to make as a child.
One of the things I really like about paper embroidery is that you can stitch the same pattern
in a variety of ways to get different results. If you have never tried paper embroidery before,
I recommend that you start out with the tear drop ornament, then try the silver star. The gold
star is a little more difficult, but once you have finished the first two you should be able
to tackle it.
Once you are comfortable with the paper embroidery patterns that have instructions try moving
on to the patterns without instructions. Use your imagination and experiment with the shapes.
Add different layers of complementing colors. The possibilities are endless!
For general embroidery instructions, see my blog post: General Instructions for Embroidery Patterns. Also, be sure to watch my blog for instructions for specific patterns.
